» Event Log

Read security: 5

Displays the last 350 warning or failure messages sent—including the day,

date, and priority of the message. The most recent messages display at the

top of the list. The following read-only fields are available to review:

» Clear System

Event Log

Write security: 3; Read security: 5

Clears the event log. When you select the command, the following prompt

displays:

This will clear the entire event log. Confirm (y/n)

to clear

the log or

to exit the command.

Time Event

Log/Time

Displays the date (in mm/dd format) and the time (in

hh:mm:ss format) that the event occurred.

Category

Displays the severity of the event. The possible catego-

ries are Critical, Major, Minor, Warning, Normal, and In-

fo. You can specify which types of errors you want the

system to log with the System Event Logging option. See

System Event Logging on page 6-10 for details.

Slot

Displays the slot number in which the event occurred. If

this field displays a dash (—), the event occurred in the

ATLAS 800

PLUS

base unit.

Port

Displays the port in which the event occurred.

Description

Displays a description of the event.

If you clear the event log, you cannot retrieve the data.
