4. To log-in to the local unit (i.e., the unit you are telnetted into), choose

1 for L

5. Next you will be prompted for a password. The default password is

adtran.

6. Enter the password. The M

screen of the unit will appear as

shown in Figure 3-8.

7. Notice that when you are telnetted into the local unit, the word

Tel net appears in the upper right-hand corner.

You can change this password using the

YSTEM

ONFIG

sub-

menu. This option is available only via the terminal.
