write [erase | memory | network | terminal]
Use the write command to save the running configuration to the unit’s NVRAM or a TFTP server. Also
use the write command to clear NVRAM or to display the running configuration on the terminal screen.
Entering the write command with no other arguments copies your configuration changes to the unit’s
nonvolatile random access memory (NVRAM). Once the save is complete, the changes are retained even if
the unit is shut down or suffers a power outage.
Syntax Description
erase
*Optional
Erase the configuration files saved to the unit’s nonvolatile access memory
(NVRAM).
memory
*Optional
Save the current configuration to NVRAM. See
copy <source> <destination>
on page 40 for more information.
network
*Optional
Save the current configuration to the network TFTP server. See
copy tftp
<destination>
on page 41 for more information.
terminal
*Optional
Display the current configuration on the terminal screen.

No default value necessary for this command.
