debug interface [ ethernet | shdsl ]
Use the debug interface command to activate debug messages associated with the Ethernet or SHDSL
interface. Debug messages are displayed (real-time) to the terminal (or Telnet) screen. Use the no form of
this command to disable the debug messages.
Syntax Description
ethernet
Activates debug messages for the ethernet network interface.
shdsl
Activates debug messages for the SHDSL (errors and events).
Default Values
By default, all debug messages in the ADTRAN OS are disabled.

Functional Notes
The
debug interface
command activates debug messages to aid in the troubleshooting of physical interfaces
(ethernet and SHDSL).
Usage Examples
The following example activates all possible debug messages associated with the Ethernet port:
