Command Reference Guide Router (OSPF) Configuration Command Set

area

range

[advertise | not-advertise]

Use this command to configure area route summarizations and to determine whether an address range is

advertised to the networks.

Syntax Description

Identifier for this area. Enter as an integer (range: 0-4294967295) or an IP

address <A.B.C.D>.

The IP address of the advertised summary route.

The mask of the advertised summary route.

advertise

The specified address range will be advertised to other networks.

not-advertise

The specified address range will not be advertised to other networks.

Default Values

By default, OSPF is not enabled.

(config-ospf)# Router (OSPF) Configuration Mode required
