do
Use the do command to execute any ADTRAN OS command, regardless of the active configuration mode.

Functional Notes
Use the
do
command to view configurations or interface states after configuration changes are made without
exiting to the Enable mode.
Usage Examples
The
do
command provides a way to execute commands in other command sets without taking the time to exit
the current command set and enter the desired one. The following example shows the
do
command used to
view the frame relay interface configuration while currently in the T1 interface command set:
(config)#
interface t1 1/1
(config-t1 1/1)#
do show interfaces fr 7
fr 7 is ACTIVE
Signaling type is ANSI signaling role is USER
Polling interval is 10 seconds full inquiry interval is 6 polling intervals
Output queue: 0/0 (highest/drops)
0 packets input 0 bytes
0 pkts discarded 0 error pkts 0 unknown protocol pkts
